Barefoot Bowls – Eltham Bowling Club

We offer barefoot bowls sessions to the general public and any interested groups.

These sessions are particularly appealing to social or family groups who want to have fun with a cheap day out on the bowling green. The dress code is as relaxed as the atmosphere and you don’t need a lot of experience to have fun with the game.

We provide free basic bowls coaching and the use of bowls. We also provide bar service and make available our BBQ for your use as well as our kitchen facilities. All drinks must be purchased through our bar and you need to provide your own food. For a small charge of $10 per person you can enjoy playing barefoot bowls on our beautiful greens. The minimum size of groups for these activities is 20 bowlers.

During winter, the most suitable time for Barefoot Bowls is a Sunday afternoon.  Our greens are not available on Saturdays due to club use.  Similarly, they are not available on winter evenings because artificial lighting is not available.    Note that during summer, evening play is very popular.
