| SOCIAL BOWLS

Come along and join us for a great time of
bowls and social interaction. The primary aim of social bowls is to
have fun in the outdoors while getting some gentle exercise. Social
bowls is a great starting activity for new bowlers as they learn the
game. Each week small prizes are generally awarded to members of the
winning team.
Format back
Generally two games of 10 ends in selected triples and/or fours.
Afternoon tea is taken between games.
Dress back
Mufti (neat casual); bowling shoes.
Who can Play back
Members and visitors.
Bowls Available back
Bowls are available to be lent to members and visitors. The club
has equipment that enables bowlers with disabilities to bowl (Note:
only short term loan for use of the bowls and bowling arms on the
day to try out before purchasing).

| Social bowls is held every Wednesday over the
Summer season and during Winter both Wednesday and Saturday.

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is provided. Prizes are won for the weekly
competition. In addition, trophies are awarded to the winner and
runner-up in the "Social Bowler of the Year" award.
Cost back
Full members (nil), social bowling members ($5), visitors ($5).
Dates back
Held each Wednesday from 31/08/2011 to 02/05/2012, except for
21/12/2011 and 28/12/2011.

Dates back
Winter Social Bowls is from1st May to last Friday in August
(26th).

| Winter Levy (members only)

The optional Winter Levy is $60. If a member chooses to pay the
levy, this covers the first $5 of the fee for every Wednesday and
every Saturday from the start of May until the end of August
(Opening Day). Members who choose not to pay the Winter Levy, pay
the full fee to play. If you choose to pay the Winter Levy, please
pay the levy by 15.5.11. Contact Leon Sinnott (Wednesday) or John
Sparke (Saturday).
